The state’s minimum wage is not enough to meet the basic needs of working families in King County. We want to hear from you if you are: Someone who works in unincorporated King County, orSomeone who employs people for work in unincorporated King County.As of January 1, 2026, the minimum hourly wage in unincorporated King County is $20.82. There are three temporary exceptions, based on business size and gross revenue. Smaller employers may pay $19.82 or $18.32 depending on the number of employees or gross revenue.
