Sweetheart Dance with District 1

Join us for our first-ever Sweetheart Dance on February 11th in celebration of American Heart Awareness Month! This special event is designed for seniors and anyone interested in connecting with and supporting the senior community.
The dance will take place at the West End Senior Center in the 78207 area code, which has one of the highest rates of diabetes in the state. Together, we’ll raise awareness, enjoy fun activities, and promote healthy living.
You’ll also get the chance to meet your City Councilwoman, Sukh Kaur, who is excited to spend time with you and celebrate this heartfelt occasion. Let’s come together and show our community some love from the corazón this February!

District 1 residents, Basura Bash is back, and we’re thrilled to be part of it again this year! ??
We’re inviting all of our District 1 neighbors and Martinez Creek residents to join us in making a difference by helping clean up the creek in our district. Together, we can create a cleaner, healthier environment for our community.
We’re looking for 150 volunteers to help us tackle this important project. Snacks and supplies will be provided to keep everyone energized and ready to make an impact.
If you’d like to participate, sign up to volunteer today by emailing Cameron at : cameron.martin@sanantonio.gov . Once registered, our team will send you a liability form to complete.
