2. If you were in charge of distributing funds for a grant program, how would you split them up?

A table showing example funding models for a grant cycle. Model 1 is Full Funding which means awarding 100% of requested funds to the highest scoring projects. Pros are that funded projects get awarded what they asked for and cons are that the fewest number of projects get funding. Model 2 is Partial Funding which means awarding 80% of requested funds to the highest scoring projects and pros are an increase in the number of funded projects but cons are that partial funding could risk project success or decrease impact. Model 3 is Tiered Funding which means awarding 100% to the top 3 highest scoring projects 90% to the next 3 highest scoring projects and so on decreasing by 10% until funds are spent and pros are that it increases the number of awards and some projects still receive full funding whereas cons are that partial funding could risk project success or decrease impact.
