Funded improvements must be durable and permanent, such as solid benches, pavilions, permanently fixed artwork, and durable garbage cans. Due to restrictions with the available funding, items like movable chairs, minor landscaping, or hanging lights purchased from a normal store are not eligible.

These improvements will likely be made in three places:

  • The commercial area of Renton Avenue S. Click here to see map.

  • The commercial area on Rainier Avenue S near 115th  Place. Click here to see map.

  • The new Black Panther Park scheduled to open at Renton Avenue S and 75th Avenue S (these funds will help pay for artwork that has already been planned for the park)
