REHABARAMA is back! Volunteers are needed for painting!
Where: House in Riverside (near the Riverside Golf Course)

- Saturday, December 7, 2024 | 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
What is REHABARAMA?
REHABARAMA is a housing preservation program focused on prolonging the useful life of San Antonio's older housing stock. Administered by the Office of Historic Preservation. REHABARAMA focuses on building the hands-on preservation trades and emphasizes retention and preservation of original building materials and architectural character. Qualified participants are eligible to receive assistance with home repair and maintenance projects focused on prolonging the useful life of the home and maintaining a living environment that is safe, dry, and warm.
Volunteer duties will include:
- Preparing surrounding area for painting to include laying down drop cloths.
- Climbing on ladders.
- Using rollers and/or paint brushes to apply paint to the house.
Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes are required. Volunteers will be provided with water and light snacks for their contributions.
